BIO

Last day at Home Office for our internsh

Originally from the rolling hills of West Virginia, Noah is currently a graduate student in the Department of Linguistics at the University of Florida (UF). He is currently an aspiring instructional design professional looking to carve out a career in educational technology.

Noah will complete his Master's Degree in Linguistics in December 2019. Additionally, he will receive a graduate certificate from UF's highly-ranked program in Instructional Design the following semester.

Noah has always seen life, and all of its complex beauty, as a thing to be investigated and intrigued by. In his second year of graduate school, Noah began to channel this love of learning toward understanding more about how people learn, which led him to the field of educational technology.

Noah believes in the power of storytelling and is interested in learning more about the utilization of storytelling methods in instructional design. He contends that the whole universe is telling a story. Sometimes that story is about the origins of the cosmos. Other times, it's about the mechanisms of our own minds. Noah actively seeks to identify those stories and to uncover the truths within them.

More importantly, he endeavors to share these stories with others. Sharing what we learn with one another is not only a great way to connect, but it is also one of the best ways to learn and evolve as a culture. The very nature of science itself is built on this concept.

Noah is happily married. He and his wife have a beautiful daughter who keeps them busy, and whose growing intellect never ceases to amaze him. He has learned the most from her and he looks forward to what more she has to teach him.
