Who am I?
Hello, world! I'm Noah Shane Kamkar Mitchell. I'm a learning experience designer and content writer who believes that true learning is..well.. an experience...and a good one at that! My main cause is helping companies and individuals design and develop learning experiences, both ILT and eLearning, that focus on the human aspect. Using an AGILE, science-inspired, and human-centered design approach not only transforms the content itself, but transforms those who ultimately engage with it. And that's exactly what we want!
Learning that's backed by science and is actually fun, now who would have ever thought that would work?

This is the PDF version of a book chapter I wrote for UF's Managing Education Projects course as part of the graduate certificate in Instructional Design. It mentions the various facets of managing human assets as part of an EdTech team, from theories about employee motivation (Maslow's hierarchy, etc.), and theories of personality (MBTI, Enneagram), to more technical information about managing team resources (allocating resources, best practices, etc).

This is the PDF version of a draft written as part of the Emerging Learning Technologies course at UF. This section focused on Augmented Reality (AR), the theories that underly it, and applications for the technology. The instructional design plan consists of an instructional design plan based on a fabricated context with a real-life app.

Transform existing Level 1 PowerPoint content into Level 2 interactive eLearning and design, develop, and implement new Level 1 and 2 content using Storyline 360 and other authoring software.
Create eLearning scripts and record voiceovers for courses where narration is instructionally relevant.
Help drive a new approach to how facilities maintenance training is done.
